1st anniversary: Milestones of Swak Foods

SWAK FOODS PVT LTD was incorporated on 29th April 2022. Today’s ,as the first anniversary of our startup of Indian gravies approaches, I can’t help but feel an immense sense of pride and accomplishment. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we’re thrilled to have made it to this milestone.

Over the past year, we’ve worked tirelessly to perfect our recipes and create a brand that truly reflects our passion for Indian cuisine. We’ve overcome numerous challenges along the way, from navigating the complexities of the food industry to adapting to the ever-changing demands of our customers.

Our 1st packaging design

When we took our first step into the processed food market we had very little idea what we were getting into. The manufacturing process, the quality inspection, packaging, lab testing, etc were all very new for us. Of course we had our well wishers who were ready to guide us but still the dilemma was always there.

For starters, we had 8 different varieties of gravy ready for launch. We were planning to launch all 8 at once. But then after a lot of debates and discussions we decided to go ahead with 4 of them to start with. I guess we controlled our excitement and made a decision that we practically right.

Then, we were planning about our Go To Market Strategy. Here, we had a lot of inputs from many people. Some suggested that B2B was the right model while others insisted on B2C model. Again there was an option of going digital only instead of going through distribution channels. There were many who suggested that going through distributor and retail channel would be money burning where as digital would fetch a better return.

But we decided to go ahead with both. Online, as well as Offline. Our reason behind it was that SWAK GRAVY should be available to as many people on as many channels as possible.

Thus today we are available of amazon storefrontflipkart and offcourse our own website.

On the other hand, today, we are present in more than 20 counters across PCMC area. Having there partners who accepted our products and placed them at their counters has been very encouraging. It has just strengthened our zeal to make SWAK and leading food brand

There have been obstacles, but it has been a learning curve for us. We’ve managed to establish a loyal following of customers who appreciate the authenticity and quality of our products. We’ve also expanded our reach to new markets and formed valuable partnerships with local businesses.

My personal experience has been very overwhelming. The number of people – known and unknown – who came ahead and helped us and guided us in every way they could was very very encouraging. It felt like the universe has been conspiring for our success.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue growing our brand and bringing the flavors of India to even more people. We’re grateful for the support of our customers, employees, and partners, and we look forward to many more successful years ahead.
